Perhaps the most exciting reveal to come out of D23 Brazil 2024 was Feige's confirmation of a place the X-Men will have within the future of the MCU. According to Feige, this would place the X-Men into the live-action MCU timeline after the events of Avengers: Secret Wars.
The theory of when and how X-Men would join the MCU has been in the perception for many years; this announcement seeding that mutants are going to be central in the next phase of the MCU. This new statement comes right after the on-screen introduction of mutants through characters like Deadpool and Wolverine, who already come under the umbrella of MCU.
